
Since 2005, The Write Way has provided grant writing and professional writing for a growing client list of non-profit organizations and businesses.
Owner Gay M. Grant is the author of Along the Kennebec: The Herman Bryant Collection (1995: Arcadia Publishers), and speaks regularly on local history topics.
Gay Grant earned her B.A. in History from the University of Southern Maine, and has more than twenty years writing and grant writing experience. Her grant writing skills have secured millions of dollars in funding for Maine non-profits. She has also provided professional copy writing for business publications and editing for writers and publishers. Grant is also a consultant “coach” for the MELMAC Education Foundation in Augusta, Maine, providing technical assistance to five Maine technical high schools implementing grant projects funded by the foundation.
Aaron Grant is a Research and Grant Writing Associate for The Write Way.
Aaron earned his Honors B.A. in History at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. Prior to his work with The Write Way, Aaron served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Kingdom of Morocco. His work included working with local non-governmental organizations to design and implement small-scale development projects including running water hook-ups and medical outreach programs, as well as conducting health lessons for primary school children. While in Morocco, Aaron wrote two successful grants to support his community’s projects, receiving funding from U.S.A.I.D. and the Synchronicity Foundation.
